Diamond Challenge Canada is a premier high school business competition that empowers Canadian students to develop entrepreneurship skills, create innovative business solutions, and compete for over $100,000 in prizes. It's completely free to participate and open to all Canadian high school students aged 14-18.

Canadian high school students aged 14-18 who are enrolled in an official high school or secondary education program can participate. Teams must consist of 2-4 students and require one adult advisor aged 21 or older.

Diamond Challenge Canada is completely FREE to participate. There are no registration fees, submission costs, or hidden charges. We believe entrepreneurship education should be accessible to all Canadian students.

Diamond Challenge Canada features two main tracks: Business Innovation Track for market-focused solutions and Social Innovation Track for addressing societal challenges. There's also the Emerging Innovator Award recognizing outstanding community impact.

Teams can compete for over $100,000 in total prizes, including cash awards, scholarships, mentorship opportunities, and access to exclusive entrepreneurship programs. Winners also receive recognition and networking opportunities with industry leaders.

The submission deadline for Diamond Challenge Canada 2026 is January 15, 2026, at 5:00 PM EST. This deadline is strictly enforced with no exceptions, so teams should plan to submit well in advance.

Teams must consist of 2-4 high school students aged 14-18. Students can be from different schools across Canada. Each team needs one adult advisor (21+) who serves as the main point of contact and provides guidance throughout the competition.

Teams must submit: a 3-5 page written concept narrative, a 60-second introductory video, a pitch deck (max 15 slides), and choose between a live or recorded pitch presentation. All materials must demonstrate your business concept and team capabilities.

Diamond Challenge Canada provides mentorship matching, resource workshops, regular check-ins with mentors, entrepreneurship education materials, and ongoing support throughout the competition. We're committed to helping every Canadian student succeed.

Teachers can serve as team advisors, integrate Diamond Challenge into curriculum, and help promote the competition to students. Schools can host information sessions and provide support for participating teams. We offer resources specifically for educators.
